The goal of the first

European ECIS Research Meeting

is to link the growing ECIS community. Talks given by ECIS users from different fields of applied and basic research will address a broad range of established ECIS applications, including cell adhesion monitoring, the ECIS-based wounding healing assay and ECIS as a screening tool in drug and cytotoxicity testing. An extra session is focused on the latest developments of the ECIS technology with respect to hardware and software. Moreover, a round table will be organized to provide the opportunity to discuss technology issues with the ECIS manufacturer and founders of Applied BioPhysics Inc. Besides the presentations in the lecture hall we hope for fruitful discussions among ECIS users during lunch and coffee breaks and in particular during the conference dinner.
